Marco Asensio reveals reasons he wants out of Real Madrid

Spanish attacker Marco Asensio has made it known to Los Blancos that he wants out of the club this summer and will depart as a free agent when his contract runs out next month.

Asensio was signed by Madrid from Mallorca in 2014 but only joined the club in 2016 after a couple of loan spells including at Espanyol where he won the LaLiga Breakthrough Player in 2015-16.

Since his arrival in Madrid, the 27-year old has been an important part of their achievements, and his fame started when he came off the bench to score against Juventus in the final of the 2017 Champions League.

He followed it up with two outrageous strikes, one in each of the Spanish Super Cup doubleheader with Barcelona the following season.

The season after that, Asensio scored in five different competitions for Real Madrid - UEFA Super Cup, Champions League, LaLiga, Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey.

As much as he has won a lot of collective accolades with Madrid, the satisfaction of being one of the mainstay in the team is not there and the club does not assure him that even in the near future.

The likes of Vinicius Júnior, Rodrygo Goes and Federico Valverde are ahead of him in the pecking order while the club could also explore opportunities to add more firepower in the summer.

Aside his unsatisfying playtime, Asensio also prefers to play behind the striker but Carlo Ancelotti's 4-3-3 set-up does not give room for such.

With the European Championship coming up next summer, Asensio will be looking to play his way into the plans of Manager, Luis de la Fuente and waiting on scrappy minutes in Madrid will not help his chances.

Asensio has been linked with PSG and the Premier League and a move to the former will make him a direct replacement for Lionel Messi, who is expected to leave Paris this summer.

    1. Ancelotti like using just 12 to 13 players out of 30 players which is not fair
He should leave Madrid we want Coch that use all the players
