The Hatters has been relegated from the top flight in the 1991-92 season, just before the start of the new era and have come a long way before sealing a return.
During the latter years of the 2010s, Luton Town went into administration and that unfortunate event saw them relegate in back to back seasons until they were out of the English Football League, when they dropped to the Conference Premier in 2008-09.
However, since then they have come a long way to finally getting back to the top-flight, moving from none league to the Premier League in eleven seasons.

1. All-time record appearance maker

Late Bob Morton holds the record for most appearances for Luton Town with 562 between 1948 and 1964.
2. All-time leading goalscorer
Gordon Turner is the all-time top goalscorer in the club's history. The Englishman scored 276 times for the Hatters between 1949 to 1964.

His tally is at least 100 more than any other player has managed for the club.
3. Stadium as old as Chelsea
The Kenilworth Road Stadium has been the home ground for Luton Town since 1905, meaning the Stadium is as old as Chelsea FC.

4. Why the nickname Hatters
Luton Town are nicknamed 'The Hatters', a name which originates from the town's historical connection with the hat making trade.
Since the 17th century, hat making industry has been in reign in the town.
6. Record signing
Last summer (2022), Luton broke their previous transfer record having paid £1.8 million to sign Carlton Morris from Barnsley.
The previous record was £850,000 paid to Dannish club, Odense for Lars Elstrup in 1989.
6. Biggest transfer fee received
Their biggest fee received on transfer was in the James Justin deal with Leicester City in 2019.

Luton Town have been handed the biggest point deduction in English Football League history with 30.

10 points deduction as a penalty for irregular player transfers and 20 more for going into administration in 2008-09, around a period they went from the Championship to dropping out of English Football League.

In their history in the top-flight, their lowest winning percentage against another team is Manchester United with just 7.1.

9. Arsenal's bogey ground
Newly promoted Luton Town have won four and drawn six in their last ten home games against Arsenal.
In their entire head to head, only twice have they lost a home game to the Gunners in of their 18 games in Kenilworth Road Stadium.
10. Supremacy over Villa and Manchester City
Aston Villa are the team Luton Town have beaten the most in top-flight history, with 13 victories.
