AC Milan plot move for Nigerian U20 midfielder, Daniel Daga

Italian giant AC Milan are interested in signing 16 year old midfielder, Daniel Daga from Nigeria Premier Football League side, Dakkada FC.


Daga, born in 2007 has been very impressive in the Nigerian flying Eagles' opening two games in the ongoing U20 FIFA World Cup in Argentina.

Daga was also part of the squad that represented Nigeria in the CAN U20 Championship in Egypt but did not have the chance to really impressed having feature for 43 minutes in the opening game before suffering an injury which brought his participation to an end very early.

So far in Argentina, Daga has been one of the most standout player, dominating the middle of the park as Nigeria made it two wins in two with victories against Dominican Republic and Italy.

Milan have been keeping tabs on him in Argentina. Daga, who scored a late equalizer for Dakkada FC against Bayelsa United in his only appearance in the NPFL regular season is also being monitored by Liverpool.

Both clubs will continue to monitor his progress in the course of the tournament and a big move potentially await Daga after the end of the tournament.
