Pep Guardiola welcomes City duo back from injury ahead of crucial final game of the season

Manchester City have been boosted with the return of their injured duo, Kyle Walker and John Stones ahead of their final game of the season against Aston Villa at the Ethiad.

The duo have missed of huge part of City's game in the run-in with their absence costing them a place in this year's UEFA Champions League final.

Since his injury against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano, Kyle Walker has never been really fit to play for City and was hauled off just after half time in the second leg of their Champions League elimination at the Bernabéu.

Former Everton defender, John Stones has not played since he was replaced by Fernandinho in the first half of the first leg of their Champions League meeting with Real Madrid.

The duo are now back and in contention for the final game of the season which will also be the title decider as Pep Guardiola’s side need a win to ensure that they finish above Liverpool and claim a consecutive Premier League title.
