We take a look at what to expect from the weekend games, assessing each teams on their recent forms and an intro to team news, as some players are expected to miss out.

Chelsea Vs Manchester City

The Blues, under Thomas Tuchel have won all three games against Pep Guardiola's City and a win on Saturday afternoon will cast away any doubt of their title credential this season.

Early season signs have shown the Londoners are true contenders for the title having started the season strongly, and are in a good shape ahead of the clash in Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

For City, it has so far been a mixed start to the season and not one Guardiola would have envisioned. Opening day loss at Tottheham and last weekend's goalless draw at home against Southampton highlight the shortcomings of the defending champions.

Pep Guardiola's main concern ahead of Saturday will be having his players fit in time as the duo of Aymeric Laporte and John Stones have missed the last couple of games having been sidelined with injuries.

Cristiano Pulisic remains the only player on the sideline for Chelsea as Edouard Mendy is expected to return in goal for the host.

Score prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Manchester City

Manchester United Vs Aston Villa

Having lost against West Ham United in mid-week, Ole Gunnar Solskjær has now won just five of his last ten games, the same number that got David Moyes sacked. The pressure is really pilling on the Norwegian and a win on Saturday will calm nerves at the club.

United are currently on a run of 16 games unbeaten against the visitors, who have managed just three draws in that time, losing the remaining 13. An impressive record which is expected to make the contest tougher as Villa have recently been transformed to a better side since the start of last season.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored eight premier league goals against Villa, more than he has managed against any other side. He will be looking to continue his goalscoring form and help his side return to winning ways at the old Trafford Stadium.

Score prediction: Manchester United 3-1 Aston Villa

Everton Vs Norwich City

Rafa Benitez side recorded their first loss of the season last time out in the league and that followed with an elimination from the Carabao Cup in the mid-week after losing on penalties to Queen's Park Rangers.

Back to the Goodison Park against a team that has lost each of their last 15 premier league games, nothing but a win will be the target for the host, who will be hoping to rekindle their good start to the season.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison have been ruled out by manager, who will be counting on Demarai Gray to continue his prowess in from of goal to suffice while their talismen remain on the sideline.

Score prediction: Everton 3-1 Norwich City

Leeds United Vs West Ham United

After five games into the new season, Leeds found themselves in a rather unforeseen position, with no win and just three draws seeing them languishing in 17th, just a place above the drop zone.

They face a West Ham United that is slowly losing their good start to the season. David Moyes side have failed to win in their last three league games having won the first two. However, their recent victory over Manchester United in the Carabao Cup should give them a boost ahead of the trip to Elland Road.

Michail Antonio returns from suspension and West Ham hold a superior head to head record against The Peacocks, with wins in their last two meetings. Leeds' first win might have to wait another time as The Hammers could prove a handful on Saturday.

Score prediction: Leeds United 1-1 West Ham United

Leicester City Vs Burnley

Consecutive losses to Manchester City and Brighton and Hove Albion added to the matchday two defeat to West Ham United means Leicester City's start to the season has been rather poor.

They host a Burnley side, yet to win this season, with one draw from the opening five league games. This will be a good fixture for Brendan Rodgers' side to get their season back on track.

Score prediction: Leicester City 2-0 Burnley

Watford Vs Newcastle United

Since beating Aston Villa in the opening weekend, Watford are only able to record another points in the league last weekend in a 3-1 win over fellow newcomers, Norwich City. But they come into this weekend's game on the bank of a 3-1 loss to Stoke City, and an elimination from the Carabao Cup.

There has been nothing much to cheer for Newcastle United in the league this season. They are one of the five teams yet to pick up a win so far and they are on two points earned against Southampton and Leeds United.

The Magpies are also winless in their last four games against Watford and have just one win in the last ten meetings. Watford will be looking to continue this run and Newcastle will look for their first league win. An interesting one to come at the Vicarage Road.

Score prediction: Watford 1-2 Newcastle United

Brentford Vs Liverpool

Brentford have been the pick of the newcomers so far with eight points from five games. They face their biggest test so far as they entertain Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool who are joint top of the table and still unbeaten.

Moreso, the visitors are yet to concede a premier league away from home this term and have conceded once overall. A difficult night awaits Thomas Frank's men in their own backyard on Saturday.

A loss will not a so disappointing for The Bees and keeping the score-line respectable will be the target but notwithstanding they can explore their chances, if they can get the weak side of The Reds on Saturday evening.

Score prediction: Brentford 0-3 Liverpool

Southampton Vs Wolves

Both sides have struggled to get things going their way after five games and even though they have not win this season in the league, Southampton are a point and a place above their opponent on the log.

They were also able to make it to the round four of the Carabao Cup with shootout win over Sheffield United, while Wolves were eliminated by Tottheham Hotspur also on penalties.

The build up to the game is not encouraging for either side and the advantage on Sunday afternoon might fall to the side that shows more willingness to take on the other.

Score prediction: Southampton 2-1 Wolverhampton Wonderers

Arsenal Vs Tottheham Hotspur

After the conclusion of Matchday three games, Tottheham Hotspur were perfect with three wins from three and yet to concede a goal, with their North London neighbours yet to pick up a point, and a goal difference of -9.

Two league games more and ahead of the first North London derby of the season, it is Arsenal who are in a better shape heading into the contest.

The Gooners have won their last three games in all competitions without conceding a goal, while Spurs are winless in their last four. Striker Harry Kane is also without a league goal this season.

The England captain will be looking for his first in the league against a side who he has a good record against. While Arsenal's last three games have been against teams you will expect them to beat, Sundays game will be a real test of their mettle.

Score prediction: Arsenal 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur

.
Crystal Palace Vs Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton are enjoying a good start to the season after five games, they are fourth with 12 points and have kept things simple thus far.

Patrick Vieira's Palace have just one win and two draws but recent record against Albion is encouraging as they have won two and drawn two in their last four meetings.

Brighton will be looking to build on their start to the season and put an end to their poor run against The Eagles on Monday night, and they will be favourites to make away with the points at Selhurst Park.

Score prediction: Crystal Palace 0-1 Brighton
