A look at Premier League Top Guns' mend before the new season kick-off

What a summer transfer window Chelsea have had and might still have, they have been the winner of the transfer window by a mile not  only are did the club made major signings but they have made signings in areas its so evident they lack except the goalpost and with rumours of a new goalkeeper coming its surely a 10/10 from me in rating Chelsea transfer buisness.

The arrival of Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwel, Kai Havertz, Thiago Silva and Timo Werner has raised the hope of a lot of the London club fans with majority already claimng the bragging right to league title. But does Chelsea have what it takes to secure the crown this season?

Not to cut the blues fans expectation short but they might end up hurting themselves with high expectation, with the marque signing, Chelsea may no be yet Manchester City's level not to talk of Liverpool. Chelsea will be going into the new season with a potential front 4 that will be playing with each other for the first time, they need time to develop that chemistry.

The big task is now on Lampard as well, no more excuse to hide behind like the past season, the players are here now and the dilema of who to start on a matchday and the pressure to deliver will be looming each matchday. As much as Chelsea have enjoyed a great summer transfer window, much patience is still needed from the fans especially to make the project one to enjoyed for a very long time.

A top four finish, winning either of the Carabao Cup or FA Cup and reaching the champions league quarter final will be a good season for the blues.

Arsenal

Much more like their London rivals, Arsenal have also enjoyed a fairly good summer transfer window as well securing players just where they needed them. Gabriel Magalhães, Pablo Mari and William Saliba to bolster the obvious weak link in the Gunners line.

Willian brings a much needed experience and options in attack, can be played on both flanks. Cedric Soares will battle it out with Bellerin at right back if the later did not end up moving to PSG. Getting Ceballos back on loan gives them a much needed holding midfielder.

Arsenal have also been heavily linked with Houssem Aouar and Thomas Partey, getting both will give the North London club a huge boost and will be a good way to kickstart Mikel Arteta's first full season at the club.

Arteta has done a remarkable job in the short period of time he has return to the club as manager and with the players within his reach, the Gunners are heading into a promising season.

Manchester United

The only arrival for Manchester United so far is Donny Van de Beek, which leaves United a left back away from a standard XI as Luke Shaw can not be counted on as a proven one and the priority of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be luring a left back before the window closes.

Manchester United woe this season will be fatigue and injury and this many expose a squad lacking in dept as an injury to any of their front three leaves them with Odion Ighalo, a player suited for centre forward role alone, the worst of it all is any injury for the center defender leaves them with only Eric Baily.

With Proper squad depth. United will be a team to watch out for in the coming season though but they are still few steps away from achieving that, and can be corrected before the transfer window shuts in October.

Liverpool

The defending champions are yet to make a significant signing this summer, acquiring the service of left back Tsimikas from Olympiacos whom comes in as back up to Andy Robertson.

They are still the team to beat this season no doubt. Jürgen Klopp have players and the system that match the players ability and strength, the squad depth might be called into question especially in defense but his players versatility has been a great support for the German coach and he will count on that again going into a season they want to defend their title so bad.

Manchester City...

Pep Guardiola and his men will be disappointed with their campaign last season and will want to go one better than their second place league finish. As much as last season must have been a total disappointment for The Citizens, shades of what the former champions entail are still there and strengthening their defence line will put them back on track.

Ake has been signed for support, Walker and Cancelo for right back while Angelino has been recalled from Leipzig to battle it out with Mendy on the opposite flank. The club is also linked with Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly and so far they have just done the best for themselves to secure the position that let them down last season.

Manchester City lost a legend in David Silva this summer but have Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden to cover for the Spaniard while the signing of talented Ferran Toress from Valencia also add quality to their never lagging attacking options.

The Manchester club are definitely on a blood hunt for the trophy and just little things could hinder them from doing so come the end of the season.
