Santi Cazorla to quit Villarreal as future decision reached

The Spanish club confirmed the midfield maestro will play his last game for the club when they host Eibar at the Estadio de la Ceramica in the last LaLiga matchday of the 2019/20 season.

The former Arsenal man has been in red hot form for the Yellow Submarines this season, contributing to 23 goals (15 goals and 8 assists) across all competitions.

Cazorla has hinted on a possible return to Arsenal, stating he would like to say goodbye to The Gunners faithfuls in a more deserving manner.

The 35year old has now reach a decision to leave Villareal after this campaign as a decision on whether to re-join Arsenal will be expected to be announced in the coming days.

Cazorla left Arsenal in the summer of 2018 with injury problems preventing him from playing a single game for the club since October 2016 till his move in 2018.
