Coutinho Desires Premier League Return says Agent
Philippe Coutinho after enduring a not so productive spell at Barcelona and a season long loan at Bayern Munich since leaving Liverpool in January 2018, the Brazilian is aiming for a return to the Premier League according Kia Joorabchian, his agent.
Having failed to justify the huge amount paid to bring him to Camp Nou, the ex-Liverpool playmaker subsequently joined Bayern Munich on loan in August 2019 where he has scored eight goals and tallied 6 assists in 22 Bundesliga appearances.
With the player now injured, it does not seem like Bayern will be extending his stay after rejecting a €120 million (£107m/$134m) purchase option
A host of Premier League big clubs, including Chelsea
Tottenham and Manchester United are reportedly interested in bringing him back to England.
Joorabchian his agent has now confirmed the 27-year-old also fancies a return to
England.
"He has a desire to come back to the Premier League at some point," Joorabchian told Sky Sports .
"It may not happen this year, it may happen this year but we don't know. We really have not discussed anything for now."
Speaking on Barca placing a £70million ($88m) price tag on Coutinho, he said - "I've never heard those figures, we've never discussed numbers, none of those figures have ever been discussed."
