Jadon Sancho: What Next For The English Sensation.

One of the hottest prospects in the football world right now is Jadon Sancho. He is no push over when it comes to naming stand out performers since he broke into the scene couple of years ago.

The former Watford Academy player who grew up as an ardent Chelsea supporter, joined Manchester City at the age of 14 in March 2015. He continued to excel at the City academy prompting the club's chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak fast tracked him into the senior teams in May 2017.

However, the Kennington raised teenager left for BundesLiga side Borussia Dortmund in August after disputes over assurance of playing time in a new contract talk with Manchester City a month earlier. Moving for a fee is believed to be in the region of £8m and was included immediately in the first team.

Since then, Sancho has never looked back in his carer and has notched an impressive 27 goals in 69 appearances for The Black and Yellows. He has also represented the Three Lions, scoring 2 goals in 11 outings for Gareth Southgate side.

Sancho's rise has now attract interests from top European teams with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool among others linked with a move for the 20 years old.

Speaking to Sport Bild last week, Dortmund captain Marco Reus said " Jadon is an outstanding player and will definitely remain in demand by many clubs" .

" He is now playing on a higher level than last year and would be extremely valuable in achieving our goals" .

He continued by saying " I would advise him to stay at BVB for another year, maybe two. From my point of view, there is no better place for him at the moment" .

Dortmund lies second, four points behind league leaders Bayern München in the BundesLiga and are out of the UEFA Champions League and the DFB Pokal. The league presents the only hope of silverware for the club this season and it remains to be seen whether they could convince the pacey winger to stay more years at the club.

With the European championships moved to 2021, Sancho will also be cautious of a move in order not to disrupt his chances of making it into the starting line up in England's squad in the next year's competition.

Will he join Manchester United and become their poster boy in the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer' s rebuild ? Or join Frank Lampard' s rejuvenating Chelsea to form an all English attacking trio alongside Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson Odoi ? Or maybe Jürgen Klopp's impressive side, Liverpool will be his preferred destination.

It remains to be seen what will be the decision of one of football's brightest talent.
