Chelsea linked with a move for Brazilian superstar

Phillipe Couthinho has barely enjoy good fortunes in club football since his big money move from Liverpool to Barcelona in January 2018 as he is yet to secure a place in the starting line up of the Blaugrana.

The Brazilian is currently on loan at Bayern Munich whom he joined last summer with option of making the deal permanent for a fee around €120m but reports in January by Bild suggests the Bavarian have no plan on making the deal permanent as Coutinho is believed to have not really impressed despite his 8 goals in 22 outings for the German club in all competitions.

Chelsea are reported to be interested in luring the former Inter Milan man to Stamford Bridge while London rivals, Arsenal were also believed to be interested in securing the services of the 27years old but only if FC Barcelona will be willing to sell on a low.

However, the blues will be clear favorite to seal the deal for the midfield should they intensify their interest as Coutinho seem to have no future at parent club, who are believed to be working on the deal to bring fellow Brazilian, Neymar back to the Camp Nou.

Chelsea have also been linked with a summer move for Jadon Sancho and Arsenal's Pierre Emrick Aubameyang as Frank Lampard look to bolster his squad ahead of the 2020/21 season.
