Chelsea managerial candidate, Abel Ferreira tells Erik Ten Hag to shut up
Palmeiras manager, Abel Ferreira has responds to Erik Ten Hag's endless complains of the club's congested fixtures, by telling the Dutchman to shut up.
The Portuguese did not forget to aim a dig at fixture schedulers in Brazil, and his sentiments will be felt by football fans arcoss the globe.
The Manchester United boss did not hide his displeasure after Marcus Rashford limped off the field in a 2-0 win over Everton at Old Trafford in the early Premier League kickoff on Saturday.
Rashford hobbled off less than ten minutes from time, minutes after assisting Anthony Martial for the second goal of the game, and Ten Hag has blamed the occurrence on the hectic fixtures, challenging the Premier League to make amendments.
It was United's third game already in April with six more to come despite the postponement of their league meeting with Chelsea due to the FA Cup trip to Brighton.
Commenting on Ten Hag's reaction, 44year old Abel Ferreira, who is being linked with the vacant managerial position at Chelsea said to the media;
“The Manchester United coach complains because Rashford got hurt and that is a consequence of the number of games he has. I'd like to ask him, 'Look, in these two months, I've got nine games each month. Shut up man, you don't know what you're talking about.”
“We have to change this. Forgive me those who don't like to hear it. We have to reduce the number of games. Whoever decides has to humanise this. Money is not everything. It is possible, with fewer games, to earn money. If the product is good, people pay."
“Football here has some fantastic qualities, but there are others that are not human. To have nine games in a month...”
Palmeiras themselves have played three times this month and six more is to come across three different competitions.
