Revenge couldn't have come at a better time but Man United in the worse they can get to take advantage at Old Trafford

Winless after two league games so far, Liverpool are on their worst start to a season under Jurgen Klopp and are currently not in a state they want to be heading to Old Trafford for their third game of the season.

Record signing, Darwin Nunez is suspended following a red card on his Anfield debut against Palace on Monday night, which ended in a draw, the first time the Reds have failed to win against The Eagles, ending a run of 12 games winning run against them.

Thiago Alcantara, Joel Matip, Diogo Jota, Ibrahima Konaté, Kurtis Jones, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Caoimhin Kelleher are all on the sidelines, while Naby Keita returned ahead of the Monday night draw but was an unused substitute.

Liverpool have conceded first in nine of their last ten games, including shootout and look as vulnerable as they can ever get under their current German manager and many teams will see no better time to take them on but presented the chance, Manchester United are still not in the state to take anything from Liverpool.

How does telling a story of Liverpool conceding first in nine of their last ten games help a Manchester United side who can not break down defence to put the ball in the back of the net ?

United have lost each of their last four Premier League games by an aggregate score of 11-1, their only goal which has come from a Solly March's own goal in their opening weekend 2-1 loss at Old Trafford.

If there's a way United will get back to winning ways, it will be very unlikely it is against Liverpool even though The Reds have not been at their best for the opening two games.

Manchester United lost both of their league meetings with Liverpool in the last season by an aggregate score of 9-0 but with things not going the way of the last season runner up, a trip to Old Trafford they will see as a chance to get their season back on track.

Liverpool are unbeaten in each of their last four league visits to Old Trafford, winning the last two by a commanding aggregate scoreline of 9-2, a run Jurgen Klopp will be looking to extend to three consecutive win at the enemy's ground.

Should Liverpool walk away with all three points on Monday night, which is the most likely outcome of the contest, they would have beaten United away for third consecutive time for the first time ever in the league.

Brighton won at Old Trafford for the first time ever on opening weekend, Brentford beat Manchester United for the first time in more than 84 years in Gameweek two.

Has Erik Ten Hag and his Devils got enough in their arsenal to stop Liverpool from earning their first league win of the season and making it a third consecutive league win at Old Trafford for the first time ever ? Not looking likely at the moment.

A Liverpool win will also see them equal their longest winning streak in the league against Manchester United, four, which was recorded twice, first between January 1909 to November 1910 and later between March 2000 and January 2002.

It is getting worse for Manchester United and the sorry days is still not out of sight as Liverpool visits on Monday night, with the home fans ready to boycott the game.

Mohamed Salah has been directly involved in nine goals in nine league games against Manchester United, eight of which have come in the last three meetings. The Egyptian is odds on to continue his red hot form against United.

United are very close to sealing move for Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro but that is likely to come too soon before Monday night's meeting at Old Trafford but even though that will lift sprits at the club, Liverpool might be too strong to repel.
