MASSIVE News For Xavi: Forgotten Barcelona star returns to training

Barcelona’s Danish striker Martin Braithwaite has returned to the grass after months on the sideline.

Braithwaite 30, went off injured after hurting his knee in the 74th minute of the club’s 2-1 win over Getafe back in August and has never feature since then.

Braithwaite has made a good start to the season, scoring twice and assisting one in three league games prior to his injury, and Xavi will be delighted to have him back on the grass.

It is still to be seen whether the trip to Mallorca on the second of January will come too soon for the former Leganes man as return to the matchday squad nears, another positive news for the club after announcing the signing of Ferran Torres from Manchester City earlier in the week.

Chelsea ended a run of three straight home defeats to Arsenal in an enthralling London derby match in the Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
