Premier League Preview: Analysing all the games coming up in the English top-flight this weekend

After a 100% win rate for english teams in the champions league, The English Premier league returns this weekend with Arsenal raising the curtains Up against Aston Villa at the Emirates in what should be a Cracking match.

Premier League preview

With a late leveller at home on Monday against london mini rivals "Crystal Palace", The Gooners will be looking to get back on track when they host The Villains who surrendered a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 to Wolves with a Ruben Neves last minute winner.

Even if Arsenal have not been at their best and have not sweet memories of this fixture under Mikel Arteta, they should be slight favourites to win at home if they can be clinical with their chances.

Chelsea kickstart Saturday against struggling Norwich City who are yet to get a win in the premier league this season. Even with the likes of Romelu lukaku and Timo werner out for the blues, a huge win at the bridge should be able expected.

A match that might see the league leaders get the opportunity to field players who have not been given much play time this season, Chelsea should easily seal the win nonetheless.

Viera's Crystal Palace hosts new rich Big boy Newcastle United at Selhurst Park. On the back of their Monday Night 94th minute heartbreak at the Emirates.

Newcastle would be looking to bounce back from a courageous 2-3 loss at home to spurs last time out, and with wilson back with the good form of Saint Maximin, and a new tenure after Steve Bruce was dismissed earlier in the week. A draw should be Fair enough for both side.

Everton, who are flying high under Rafa Benitez host Watford. Watford lost heavily to five star Liverpool last time out. Though this time around, they won't be facing a highly rated side in Everton, they might just be lucky to get a point from the Toffees if they play their cards right at goodison park.

Particularly with the absence of Abdoulaye Doucouré, who has been a vital player at both ends of the pitch for Everton, Watford will fancy their chance though it will not be easy.

Getting Ismaila Sarr in the mood will be key but Everton will still be favourites to make away with the points. Claudio Ranieri however might have other ideas. Interesting contest awaits in Merseyside.

Leeds United have to find their winning formula when they welcome Wolves to Elland Road. After losing to Southampton last time out with a Armando Broja lone goal handing The Saints their first win of the league seasons, Leeds will be looking to get maximum point against rejuvenated Wolves.

Wolves last Saturday was involved in an entertaining 3-2 come from behind win over Aston villa. Without Patrick Bamford, Leeds will have to find a direction for their attack, and the return of Raphinha will be a boost for them.

Southampton host Burnley in a must win game to finally put away the thought of them being strugglers thus season. With only one win this season for Burnley, they are also not in the best shape so Southampton might be on their way to second win of the season.

Brighton the Etihad on Saturday in what is the curtain drawer for games in the English top-flight on the day. Currently 4th on the Premier League table and looking very solid, Brighton will have rely heavily on their compact defense to get any chance of taking anything away from the game.

However, Manchester City, on of the most scoring side in the division might have to do more to break down a defender that has conceded just five this term.

Nonetheless the host are the favourites and a win for them looks realistic without taking anything away from the visitors.

Brentford look like no newcomers. They have been fantastic so far and now player host to Brendan Rodgers Leicester City on Sunday.

Leicester, after dismantling Manchester United on Saturday, and a five-goal in two games for Zambian striker Patson Daka, Leicester have everything in an attack that has produced eight goals in their last two games to have a go at

A balanced game which could well end in a stalemate.

West Ham United will be looking to hurt Tottenham European Football Ambition in a mouthwatering clash at the London Stadium on Sunday. With both sides playing in Europe during the week, West Ham can build on the confident run they've been having in the league and get a win against Nuno's men.

However, with Hueng-Min Son and Harry Kane getting back to their firing form, it could go anybody's way. Possibly a draw.

And the biggest one this matchday, which comes up on Sunday evening sees struggling Manchester United host Mohamed Salah's Liverpool at the Theater of dreams in English football's biggest rivalry.

With goals in 10 consecutive games including worldie in consecutive games against Manchester city and Watford, scoring at the Old Trafford look look inevitable for the Egyptian, especially against a side that have only recorded one clean sheet in the Premier League this season.

However, a classy performance against Atalanta during the week by United shows that they can be capable of the unpredictable even in their worse moments. Ole Gunnar Solskjær's men will be looking to pull a big one here, especially when you realize Liverpool haven't won at Old Trafford in almost a decade.

Both sides realize how much the game mean for their fans and will try to do all they can to earn a deserved result. Form does not always count in games like this.
