Pavard 24, fired home from close range after being teed up by Robert Lewandowski. The goal was given after VAR check confirmed the Pole was onside in the buildup to the goal.

Lewandowski, who had been a victim of the VAR in the first half, when he was penalized for being offside, leading to the cancelling of a Joshua Kimmich's goal from 30yards was fortunate to be just onside as Pavard taps in with the goalkeeper off his line.

Missing the likes of Thomas Muller and Jerome Boateng, the Bavarian did just enough to earn them their second Club World Cup trophy after first winning it in the 2013.
